Welcome to my Website!

As a Sunday School project I planted some sunflower seeds and watched them grow.  To my surprise, I saw how very much like sunflower seeds we are.

32 years ago I began attending “Winning Women for Christ”. This was an organization that put on two retreats a year for women of all faiths. Sometimes there were over 3,000 women present listening to a national speaker share what God had placed on her heart.  I would sit and listen to each speaker, mesmerized by her message.  In my heart I said “Lord, could I possibly do this one day?” A seed was planted, I began to grow in the Lord and to my surprise and amazement, the day came!

I began speaking at the smaller workshops for these retreats, then, the Lord called me to be Teaching Director for Community Bible Study, where I presented a 30 minute lecture every week for twelve years.  In between the lectures the Lord called me to speak at various functions.

Only by the Grace of God could a shy, introverted girl who had made a mess of her life be transformed into a servant of God.  Like a sunflower seed I died to my sins, was buried with Christ and raised to seek God’s face.  In Spanish the word for sunflower is “girasol” which literally translated means to rotate, revolve or turn toward the sun or “seeks the sun”.  I have dedicated my life to “seeking the Son” and sharing what I find with others.

Because of what I have been rescued from, I want everyone to know that God can make “something beautiful from our ashes, He can give us gladness for mourning and praise for despair” (Is. 61:3). We can be transformed into servants of God through the study of the Word of God which is “living, active and powerful” (Heb. 4:12).  Like a Sunflower seed we can be transformed!

If I can help you “seek the Son”, please contact me.
